My Journey

Born in Grand Junction, Colorado, doctors told my mother she couldn't have children, yet here I was—defying expectations from the start. My early weeks in foster care instilled in me a deep appreciation for connection and the power of resilience.

From teenage father and entrepreneur at 16, to CTO at 21, to leading transformative projects like Krux (acquired by Salesforce) and ChangeTip (acquired by Airbnb), my journey has been about using technology to create meaningful human connections.

I do my best thinking on a massage table—it's my forced meditation time. When the world slows down and my body relaxes, that's when the biggest insights come. Some of my most important life and business decisions have happened in that peaceful space.

It taught me that breakthrough thinking often requires stepping away from the noise, creating space for wisdom to emerge naturally.
